Do you remember me...Mandy Eubanks? I started going by Amanda when I went to college. My youngest daughter found your site and I was amazed to see that there were pictures of me!  My family moved the summer before 10th grade and I really did miss graduating with all of you. I'd love to come to your next reunion and catch up with you all. I live in Asheville w/ my husband Matt and our 4 children (well, 2 are adults now!) Please email me! I did not realize how big of an impact going to school with all of you had on me.  I thought I was standing apart from what was going on, but I find your experiences are linked with mine, and found myself welling up with unexpected tears at the fact that I could feel such attachment to the people I recall being slightly  out of my reach for not being one of them.  But I AM one of you and growing up with you all has taught me how to be who I am. I've already written something long and boring for another venue that's about each individual I saw who means so much to me. Let me just say, I hope it is not another 25 years for us to acknowledge each other.

I lost my camera (still the old kind that actually uses film!) at HVCC Saturday night.  If you happen to find it or can help, please let me know!  Don't care so much about the camera, but am bummed to miss out on the pictures inside!  Thanks! Kelley, It was great catching up with you too! I am so glad you are going to make it to at least one of the events planned for our reunion weekend. 25 years - where did it go? Kelly, It was great talking to you the other night. I can't believe it's been 25 years and come to find out you live less than 2 miles from me. I'm looking forward to the reunion and seeing everyone again. Like I mentioned the4 other night we will probably not be able to attend Saturday Nights event unless Jeff and get his schedule changed but we are definitely planning on the events Friday and Friday Night. The upcoming 25th reunion (I never attended any reunions, btw) has inspired me to review my three Jordan yearbooks -- 1980, 1981, and 1982. My favorite is 1981 (a magical year for me in every possible way, if you know what I mean...well, maybe you don't). Anyway, I felt kinda nostalgic and so, I decided to re-read "The Great Gatsby" and you know what? It's even more boring the second time around! I'd love to be at the reunion because high school reunions have been featured in so many TV shows and movies (e.g., an episode of "King of Queens", Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Grosse Pointe Blank) and they seem like so much fun, but I've got plans here in California with my family. I wish everyone the best.

Kelly - thanks for finding me this time around. I recently was released from the witness protection program (just kidding)- just so you could find me. I am looking forward to a really crazy time - it feels almost like the first day of high school again. I can't believe we all live so close to each other and yet I have not run into any of you or I just don't recognize you - how much we have all matured. ha.
